HOWELL LIVING IT UP IN HOLLYWOOD

14 February 2008 – This week Charles Howell III has been living the life of a Hollywood star while staying in Beverley Hills awaiting to defend his title at the Northern Trust Open this week.

Staying close by to the multi-million dollar mansion of the “it” couple, David and Victoria Beckham, “My wife’s uncle lives in Beverley Hills so I get to feel like a superstar for at least one week,” Howell said. “It’s a comfortable week for me,” the native from Georgia added.

Apart from living as a superstar, Howell began his week in the same way, filming a television commercial for his sponsors.

Howell will be defending his title at the Riviera Country Club, a five star golf course designed by George C. Thomas Jr. , and which has been named “Hogan’s Alley”, in remembrance of the titles won here in 1947 and 1948 by Ben Hogan.

This par-71 course has had club members ranging from the likes of Dean Martin, Walt Disney, Mary Pickford, Hal Fairbanks, and Peter Falk, to name but a few.
