SABBATINI FAST MOVING IN WORLD RANK Rory Sabbatini, after taking the second position at the Sony Open held in Hawaii, has greatly improved in his world rankings by moving into the top 10.
Rory Sabbatini is now ranked with other great South African golfing talent, appearing alongside the names of South African golfing greats like Ernie Els, Time Clark, and Retief Goosen. Ranking sixth in the world golfers’ top 10 is South Africa’s top-ranked golfer Ernie Els, with Rory Sabbatini following. Trevor Immelman is currently ranked 17th, Retief Goosen 27th, Tim Clark 31st, and, after winning the Joburg Open on both the European Tour and Sunshine Tour, Richard Sterne stands in the 33rd position. In seventh place is South Korea’s KJ Choi, and standing strong for 478 weeks in the number world number one position is the great Tiger Woods. |
