TIGER WOODS: UNRIVALED HERO

17 December 2007 – The Target World Golfing Challenge held in California at the Sherwood Country Club course this weekend, the final PGA tournament for the year in fact, saw no surprises for all golfing fans, with Tiger Woods claiming the victory with a four-under 68.

Defeating by seven shots the American Zach Johnson, Woods has ended his year well at this $5.75 million championship game.

With the winnings of $1.3 million, this is the fourth time in which Woods has been the victor of this event.

Woods will be donating his entire winnings for this game to his foundation.

On his victory, Woods has said, “It’s the end of the year. Stevie (caddie) and I, we were talking about it coming up on the last hole, that it’s been just a great year”.

“It’s been a long year but also one that we’ve thoroughly enjoyed. I just can’t wait until obviously next season starts”.

Make sure that you do not miss out on the chance to view this great talent at his next tournament, The Buick International, which is to be held at the Torrey Pines golf course in San Diego late January of next year.

Tiger Woods is surely in the minds of all a golfing hero of note, who will go down in the history of the game as being one of the best.
