Woods wins at Buick Invitational |

WOODS: SIMPLY THE BEST In California on Sunday, at the $5.2 million Buick Invitational, Tiger Woods yet again took the victory for his superb play on the Torrey Pines Golf Course.
With a one-under par 71, Woods beat Japan’s Ryuji Imada by eight shots, finishing with 19-under a total of 269. This victory for Woods is his fourth straight and sixth career title. Opening the final round with a gigantic lead, Woods continued to extend on this throughout the day, opening the first hole with a birdie, going from 8 to 9 on the first hole, and then again later in the play from 9 to 10 on the sixth hole. Woods has yet again proved that he is simply the best golfer out there. Standing at second place at the start of the final round on Sunday, Stewart Clink came to finish with a one-over 73, to tie for third at under-nine with South Africa’s Rory Sabbatini. |
