The golf course of the Coombe Wood Golf Club  is famed for seven challenging Par 3's complemented by tree lined Par 4's with blind tee shots and heavily bunkered greens. The golf course was extended in 1922 to 18 holes with a par of 66 under the Club Captain Field Marshal Earl Haig.
