The golf course of the Glyn Abbey Golf Club is close to a number of tourist attractions including Pembrey Coastal Park, Kidwelly Castle and the Gwendraeth Valley Mineral Railway. A further 35,000 trees were planted during construction of the golf course, which was opened for play in 1992.
